Cheers to winter Chills!

To finish the weekend, I thought I’d send my inner snow queen off with a toast. Truthfully the weather was pretty pleasant in my hometown today, but my heart goes out to girls in Denver and New England who had to endure the dreaded “sprinter” weekend snowfall. So I felt obligated to find the perfect libation for the occasion.

According to Ok Magazine a popular cocktail of movie stars out enjoying the snow-capped mountains of Utah during Sundance is the Winter Queen-tini. A slightly sour but refreshing concoction featuring…what else?…but Snow Queen Vodka, of course. As far as I’m concerned those Sundance celebs are definitely on to something. Try this puckery potion yourself for a warm and festive “sprinter” evening.

Winter Queen-tini
1 1/2 oz. Snow Queen Vodka
3 oz. Grapefruit Juice
Splash Triple Sec

Pour vodka and grapefruit juice into short glass filled with ice, add a little Triple Sec and stir.
If you don’t have Triple Sec you can alway substitute with sugar. Add girlfriends and enjoy!
